Among the array of perspectives on Leadership, many focus on individual achievement by those in positional power within organizational hierarchies and structures. Such approaches to leadership typically reinforce the message that success and failure is determined by managers at the top rather than by the collective contribution of every person in the organization. The reality is that excellence is only possible when organizations harness the human potential of all of its members. In order to harness potential, we must demonstrate our value for each person’s contributions.
